Area Professionals Demo New Windows Operating System and Microsoft Office 2007
All eyes and ears are tuned into a presentation given by Eric Hintz, ERGOS business solutions consultant, at the Microsoft Sneak Peek event held at the St. James Courtyard. Hintz describes the benefits of the Windows Vista system, SharePoint and CRM and described how to use the solutions more efficiently. Local business executives attended the ERGOS event to find out how the Vista system and additional Microsoft enhancements are changing the way companies do business.
Houston, TX - January 23, 2007- On Thursday, January 18, local business executives got a taste of how Microsoft is taking business to the next level of productivity at the ERGOS Technology Sneak Peek. The event unveiled Microsoft's 2007 Exchange Server, Microsoft Office 2007, Microsoft Vista, and included demos of Microsoft SharePoint and CRM.
It's been five years since Microsoft released a new Windows operating system. According to Microsoft, Vista contains hundreds of new features that include: an updated graphical interface and visual style, an improved search feature, new multimedia creation tools and enhanced security.
“Microsoft's enhanced look, feel and level of productivity will impact how companies process information,” said Steve Winter, CEO of ERGOS Technology. “We wanted to introduce these new products to our end users and give them an opportunity to test them out to see where business is headed. Over the next two to three years, these new products will be leading the way in improved technology that increases companies' level of productivity.”
More than 40 company executives attended the ERGOS event that included: insights, tips, and real-world examples of how CRM and SharePoint can take business to the next level of productivity and profitability. Participants, in turn, got their questions answered about how each new feature would effectively integrate and benefit their current processes.
In addition, executives boarded the Microsoft Mobile Event Experience, a 42-foot truck equipped with the latest software and technology, to get a hands-on feel of the Windows Vista System and Microsoft Office 2007.
