Business Needs
The Federal Wage and Labor Law Institute wanted to outsource the maintenance of their internal sales order website and wanted to build off of the initial deployment. They also wanted the application to integrate with their MAS90 accounting application.
ERGOS Solution
ERGOS utilized application development and Microsoft SQL skills to maintain and enhance their internal application as the company grew. We implemented SQL reporting services to use with the Classic ASP web application. Using our SQL skills, we setup DTS (Data Transformation Services) packages to move data between their internal Sales Order system and MAS90. We also automated the import of orders from the company website.
The Results
With the new system, order entry is faster. They can now process tens of thousands of orders a day with the new processes. The faster order entry and processing has been extremely useful with the new Minimum Wage Rate increase. All companies are required to display the new poster. Plus, with the new automated process, errors have been greatly reduced.
