With a successful background in sales and marketing and a passion for entrepreneurship and technology, Steve Winter founded ERGOS in Houston, Texas in May of 1997. ERGOS has grown tremendously under Steve's leadership and is positioned for more growth and accolades. Having been on the receiving end of IT services before starting ERGOS, Steve has fulfilled his vision of creating an IT company that exceeds a CEO's expectations. ERGOS serves companies ranging in size from the entrepreneur to the enterprise and currently is the outsourced IT Consulting firm and CIO to a multitude of companies across the Houston area. ERGOS' success clearly is a result of Steve's passion for excellent service.

Steve has been a finalist in the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year award in Houston in 2001 and 2005 and is very active in the IT community. Steve has been the Editor of The Technology Champion magazine and has co-hosted the radio show, The Digital Boardroom. He is very active with the Houston Technology Center, the Rice Alliance, the MIT Enterprise Forum, the Association of Information Technology Professionals and is an active participant with the Greater Houston Partnership, the Entrepreneur's Organization and the Whitehall Club.

Steve has his Masters in Business Administration from the University of Houston and his Bachelor's degree from the University of Texas where he has recently served as the President of the Houston Texas Exes Alumni Association and serves on the Advisory Board of the UT Business Network and the Texas Exes in Austin. He and his wife, Paula, have two wonderful boys who attend St. Michael's Catholic School where they are parishioners in Houston.
