John T. Jones & Company had been benefiting from the collaboration and sharing features of Microsoft Small Business Server (SBS) for several years. They were ready to upgrade to the latest version, get a new server and a more sophisticated backup solution. They were looking for a Microsoft Partner who could upgrade and maintain the network and provide IT support for their staff.
ERGOS recommended that John T. Jones CPA firm join the Microsoft Professional Accountant’s Network for only $299 and benefit from the Microsoft Action Pack which contains thousands of dollars worth of Microsoft Office and server software. ERGOS installed a new Dell server with Microsoft SBS 2003 utilizing licenses from the Action Pack; and, enabled Remote Web Workplace, a new feature allowing Jones’ employees to work remotely from home or client sites.
For their backup solution, ERGOS installed a Network Attached Storage Appliance, providing a redundant backup solution for robust Disaster Recovery. With ERGOS’ Flat-Fee-Worry-Free IT™, remote agents were installed on the server and all workstations for efficient and secure remote monitoring, patch management and antivirus updates. Three levels of security were created with server and desktop antivirus, firewall monitoring and a spam filtering service.
With the Microsoft Action Pack, all employees received Microsoft Office Professional 2007 at virtually no cost. They saved thousands in dollars in software costs with the Action Pack and their productivity improved, allowing them to provide faster service to their clients.
